Abstract

|
Pseudohypoparathyroidism is a familial disease of metabolism in which parathyroid glands are normal, but organ response to parathyroid hormone is abnormal.
We presented the cases of 2 patients who had pseudohypoparathyroidism. Their laboratory findings were low serum calcium, high serum phosphorus and high plasma PTH.
One had the short metacarpals and metatarsals, and the other had the abnormal calcification at finger and basal ganglion.
